But no one really feels like the one. And the more girls he dates, the more Cohen’s convinced she isn’t really out there.Luckily he has Maren—the girl with the sexy voice who always cracks the best jokes. They’ve been talking daily for a year…on the phone. What started as all work soon blooms into friendship. Then she asks him.
Do you want to meet?
He’s scared out of his mind to ruin the one easy, fun relationship he has going for him. But he takes the plunge, and things are just fine, totally easy and comfortable.
Except that they both sense it’s not strictly platonic…there is an undeniable attraction and absolute raw chemistry between them…and every time they’re in the same room, that attraction gets deeper and harder to ignore.
Maren could be the best thing that’s ever happened to Cohen… Or she could send his carefully compartmentalized life into a tailspin.
Cohen has to decide if he’s ready to let go of his comfortable fantasy and embrace the one girl who might be able to change his luck in love.
My Thoughts ❤
OMG! I have been WAITING on this book for like FOREVER! Needless to say, after reading Lengths I’m chomping at the bit for Limits.
This is the story of Cohen, Deo’s best friend since diapers. He’s smart, hot, hardworking, & family oriented. But, when he gets dumped by his longtime girlfriend, he wonders if he will ever find Mrs. Right.
Maren works for Cohen’s family business. Cohen loves to talk to her, and she always knows the right things to say. She has a rough life at home taking care of her father. She hasn’t expected much from herself, but knows one day that could change.
My favorite part of this story is the baseball game and events afterwards because this is the beginning of their face-to face relationship. You get to see each of their feelings, how Maren doubts herself & makes excuses for the bad things in her life. Cohen bring Maren out of all of that, and shows her how she should be treated.
Cohen is a character that will make you love him because he puts others first. There are 2 events that take place (which I will not spoil!) which will leave you with a sense of respect and love for him like none-other.
I also love how you get to still know what is going on in the lives of Deo, Whit, Deo’s mom, and the whole Rodriguez clan… which leads right up to Limits!
This book is FABULOUS! In fact, I stopped reading another book so I could read Depths because I just couldn’t stare at it on my Kindle any longer! Each book I read of Liz Reinhardt and Steph Campbell’s amaze me! They are awesome authors that inspire me daily!
If you haven’t read Lengths start there, then read Depths because book one gives insight to Cohen. In Depths, you learn about Cohen’s soul!
